Ambiguity

Ambiguity is magic, the man once said. Or maybe he said it twice? There's power in the signs all around us, he said. Or maybe he said its might?

Nothing survives without water in a desert, he said, and this much I thought to be true, but perhaps he said it differently, like a desert can survive on just dew?

It holds the potency of a secret well kept, he said, and sometimes the perils of alarm, because ambiguity has the complete capacity to allure, persuade and disarm.

It's a fine line between realism and fantasy, the man once said, or maybe I heard it twice; as there's often more depth to dialogue, he added, if you really listen in life.

Symbols add yet another dimension, he said, with the power to ignite the mind, as if reaching inside to unravel the layers that envelop us most of the time.

We also miss the point, he said, when we only see one meaning. because ambiguity often multiplies and it's as frequent as my breathing.

Ambiguity is the resonance - he said, an echo off a mountain: something you thought you might have heard, but can't be totally certain.

Ambiguity is the magic, he said, of sensing something new: the enlightenment that comes from learning, and having not just one insight, but a few.
